We have $8,250 to go, and for this final week we have introduced "Trot" the turkey 🦃! He will visit the class that raises the most money in the 24 hour period: [8am the day before through 8am of that same school day].
He is spending Monday, 11/13 with Mrs. Maddox's first grade class; they raised $150 this weekend!

Please help me in thanking this year's board for volunteering their time, minds, and creativity to make this year awesome!
We have already had a great kickoff to the year with our Summer Movie Night and Back to School Teacher Breakfast, and are excited for our upcoming calendar of events! Please check the calendar in the link above for a full list of upcoming dates and activities.

From the Crosswind Principal
Dear Crosswind Families,
Good morning! My name is Kristie Murin and I am honored to serve as the new principal at Crosswind Elementary School. It has been wonderful getting to meet so many of our families during the New Student and Kindergarten Registration held over the last couple of Wednesdays. I am looking forward to meeting each of our families as we navigate this very different start to the school year.
Collierville Schools released the re-entry plan yesterday and families have the option of traditional (in-person) where the student is at school daily or the option of the Collierville Virtual Academy were the student is at home with coursework in a digital format. While we have all been anxiously awaiting this plan, I also understand this plan has undoubtedly created questions for parents. Please know I am here to answer any of your questions and listen to any concerns you may have. I want to ensure our families have all the information they need to make the best decision for their family.
To help assist with this process, our wonderful PTA is gathering questions from parents over the next couple of days. I will take these questions and provide our families as much information as I am able to. Please know I am here to serve our students, our families, our faculty and our Collierville community. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we navigate these unprecedented times. Even in the midst of challenges and changes, we are going to have a SUPER year at Crosswind. I am looking forward to working together this year and seeing our little eagles grow and soar! Please do not hesitate to reach out if I can be of any assistance. Thank you!
