We have a wonderful board of new and returning members who are eager and excited to be “learning under construction” with us. We are here today because of our amazing families and volunteers. Please help me in thanking them for all their hard work and dedication to our wonderful students, faculty and amazing school!! To kick off our school year, we have our Summer movie night coming up and back to school breakfast to welcome the teachers back to Crosswind. We have updated the calendar of events. Please check them out in the above link with a list of all the activities and dates. We are so excited about these events! Crosswind Elementary is well known for wonderful involvement of its amazing parents and staff and without you, we wouldn’t be here! Please consider joining the PTA. Individual members ships are $10 and family memberships are $15. We would also love to have your help with events throughout the year. If you are able, please consider volunteering at one of our events. We also have committees, if you are interested in joining one of them! Your time is valuable and we honor it!! Our PTA board will continue to work with all staff, students, families and the communities with the money donated to us. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to any board member. We will be posting regularly on Facebook for updates and upcoming events. Thank you so much! All this is made possible because of you! Thank you for your support and GO EAGLES!! — Beth |

Murin's MessageFrom the Crosswind PrincipalDear Crosswind Families,
Good morning! My name is Kristie Murin and I am honored to serve as the new principal at Crosswind Elementary School. It has been wonderful getting to meet so many of our families during the New Student and Kindergarten Registration held over the last couple of Wednesdays. I am looking forward to meeting each of our families as we navigate this very different start to the school year. Collierville Schools released the re-entry plan yesterday and families have the option of traditional (in-person) where the student is at school daily or the option of the Collierville Virtual Academy were the student is at home with coursework in a digital format. While we have all been anxiously awaiting this plan, I also understand this plan has undoubtedly created questions for parents. Please know I am here to answer any of your questions and listen to any concerns you may have. I want to ensure our families have all the information they need to make the best decision for their family. To help assist with this process, our wonderful PTA is gathering questions from parents over the next couple of days. I will take these questions and provide our families as much information as I am able to. Please know I am here to serve our students, our families, our faculty and our Collierville community. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we navigate these unprecedented times. Even in the midst of challenges and changes, we are going to have a SUPER year at Crosswind. I am looking forward to working together this year and seeing our little eagles grow and soar! Please do not hesitate to reach out if I can be of any assistance. Thank you! Sincerely, Kristie Murin Principal Crosswind Elementary School (901)853-3330 [email protected] |
