President's Message - Fall 2022Hello Crosswind families and welcome back to our amazing school!
My name is Ashley Isbell, and I am so excited to be your 2022-23 Crosswind PTA President for the 2022-23 school year. We have a great group of individuals to serve as this year’s PTA Board, all of whom have great ideas for the school year! Help me thank them for donating their time and knowledge into serving our school, families, staff, and community. Crosswind Elementary is well-known for its incredible parent and staff involvement. We hope to be able to count on your continued support. Please consider an individual ($10) or family ($15) membership with the Crosswind PTA. If you are able, please help volunteer with our events, join one of our PTA committees, or help us with other needs throughout the year! We value the time and effort each volunteer gives— everything is possible with your help! As your PTA Board, we will continue to work for the Crosswind school, staff, students, families, and community with all of the funds donated to us. Please feel free to reach out to and PTA Board member with questions or feedback. We will provide financial and program updates as often as possible to make decisions and votes on PTA business matters. We thank you again SO much for your support- it is because of YOU that we are able to be a part of the Crosswind family. We look forward to another amazing year at our “Happy Place”- Crosswind Elementary! -Ashley |

Murin's MessageFrom the Crosswind PrincipalDear Crosswind Families,
Good morning! My name is Kristie Murin and I am honored to serve as the new principal at Crosswind Elementary School. It has been wonderful getting to meet so many of our families during the New Student and Kindergarten Registration held over the last couple of Wednesdays. I am looking forward to meeting each of our families as we navigate this very different start to the school year. Collierville Schools released the re-entry plan yesterday and families have the option of traditional (in-person) where the student is at school daily or the option of the Collierville Virtual Academy were the student is at home with coursework in a digital format. While we have all been anxiously awaiting this plan, I also understand this plan has undoubtedly created questions for parents. Please know I am here to answer any of your questions and listen to any concerns you may have. I want to ensure our families have all the information they need to make the best decision for their family. To help assist with this process, our wonderful PTA is gathering questions from parents over the next couple of days. I will take these questions and provide our families as much information as I am able to. Please know I am here to serve our students, our families, our faculty and our Collierville community. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we navigate these unprecedented times. Even in the midst of challenges and changes, we are going to have a SUPER year at Crosswind. I am looking forward to working together this year and seeing our little eagles grow and soar! Please do not hesitate to reach out if I can be of any assistance. Thank you! Sincerely, Kristie Murin Principal Crosswind Elementary School (901)853-3330 kmurin@colliervilleschools.org UPDATE - 07/22/2020
